ALEJANDRA REMÓN

MY VOICE IS THROUGH INSPIRATION

With a vision closely aligned to the philosophy of Prunès, we spoke with writer, photographer, and multidisciplinary artist Alejandra G. Remón about aspects of her personality, sources of inspiration, jewelry, and dreams yet to be fulfilled. Her role as an influencer is undeniable, creating content that resonates with her audience. The key lies in her authenticity and closeness, as her followers find not only inspiration but also an emotional connection with the person behind the screen.

(Question) What is your most distinctive trait?

(Alejandra) I’d say it’s my ability to synthesize and compose, my complex sensitivity, and my perseverance. I have an insatiable curiosity and am always eager to learn new things and gain new knowledge. I’m a factory of ideas! I’m constantly reflecting, dialoguing, and observing.

(Q) What talent would you like to have?

(Alejandra) I think I already have a few; after all, I’m a multidisciplinary artist who writes, photographs, performs, designs, and creates visual compositions… So asking for more might be a bit much. But, for example, there’s one thing I’ve never managed to get right: playing a musical instrument. I’m terribly clumsy at it.

(Q) What is your best source of inspiration?

(Alejandra) People and their unique worlds. Also, nature, stories, and everything around me. I think an artist is always in contact with inspiration, even when they don’t want to be, because anything can be artistically interpreted, even the most ordinary things.

I USUALLY WEAR A LITTLE GOLD CHAIN ON MY WRIST AT ALL TIMES, WHICH WAS A GIFT FROM MY MOTHER MANY YEARS AGO. IT'S A SIMPLE THING, BUT I LOVE TO WATCH HER AND KNOW THAT SHE IS ALWAYS WITH ME AND SUPPORTS ME IN EVERYTHING I DO.

(Q) What is your favorite piece of jewelry?

(Alejandra) I’m fascinated by the world of jewelry from an artistic perspective. I love observing pieces and imagining the exquisite and intricate craftsmanship behind them. Personally, I have a certain fondness for bracelets and rings, though sometimes I’m captivated by other pieces, like the diamond Melody earrings from Prunès’ collection. They’re so delicate, exquisite, and original in their display that they steal my heart. I’m drawn to pieces that transcend the ordinary, even if they carry an eternal soul. I always wear a simple gold chain bracelet that my mother gave me years ago. It’s something simple, but I love looking at it and knowing it’s always with me, supporting me in everything I do.

(Q) Your dream project is…

(Alejandra) After publishing five illustrated poetry books and now taking the plunge with my first novel, Mudanza, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t dream of seeing this story on the big screen. I dream of bringing it to life through images. Who knows? As I was writing it, I envisioned it as a film… and I trust that will happen someday. One day at a time. I like dreaming big.
